ATTENTION DEVIANTART STAFF:

THERE IS A BUG ON YOUR WEBSITE AND IT HAS NOT BEEN FIXED.

PLEASE GET OFF YOUR LAZY BUTT AND FIX IT, THIS IS NOT MY JOB TO TELL YOU:

This is the issue: A spammer is randomly liking comments triggering a wave of notifications on my messages panel. This results in me mass deleting comments, and accidentally deleting comments from buyers interested in my artwork. I take steps to test the validity of DA's "block system." So I upload an artwork, post a comment, then disable the comments section. I refresh the page and I unable to access the comments section. Good. I then create a secondary account, which I block, try to access my main account and post a comment, but am unable to (good). However THIS spammer is able to bypass ALL of that. Even after blocking them they are STILL able to view my artwork and access the comments section HOURS AFTER the comments section was disabled. That should NOT be happening. Your DA "block system" is MESSED UP. DA blocks ME from accessing their page, yet THEY still have access to MY deviations and comments section after -I- was the one who blocked THEM? As the user who does the blocking, I should be the one to still access their profile, NOT THEM. WTF are you doing DA? Why are you ignoring people's requests to get this fixed? Are you intentionally trying to dodge your job and responsibilities on this website? This is YOUR responsibility, NOT OURS. FIX IT. THIS IS A SERIOUS BUG. This spammer has over HUNDREDS of accounts. I am mass deleting HUNDREDS of their notifications and am getting TIRED of it. It should not be THAT HARD for you to simply check up their IP ADDREDSS and BLOCK their usage of this site using their IP ADDRESS. Here is a list of all of their accounts:

I have made a forum related to this. READ HERE:

I block this user, assuming they will have no access to my page and all information associated with me. HOWEVER they are able to BYPASS this by STILL viewing all my deviations.

Hi, have a nice day :)
Thanks for the LLama! :)
Hi, there! And thank you, for fixing and polishing the DA software!

According to   Site Update: Replying to FeedbackIn our continuous effort to improve the deviantART experience, we're publishing weekly Site Updates to keep members informed and to gather feedback. Below is a list of recent changes to the site, bug fixes, and feedback that was brought up by members in the last Site Update.

,
and I quote:
Titles with special characters would not always display correctly,
when viewing a Journal’s preview. Fixed by Alisey.
I surmised that one could —finally!—
include letters beyond the restricted English 26,
so I tried to change the title of
    Mayam-B^aMayam-Bä:
Even now, I cannot utter that term without feeling a surge in my tearducts.
It is the name by which Sarit and her kind refer to their own world.
It stems from Ama, equivalent to our Gaia,
who in ancient times was seen as a gigantic being
whose body —whose skin— is the landscape we inhabit,
and who, in modern times, is still earnestly revered
by all those environmentalists who worship her,
not by building temples in her honor, but by recycling trash
and by trying to preserve her assets.
Sarit's forebears rhetorically asked about Mai Ama: Ama's belongings.
What belongs to Ama?
Answer: everything around you, as far as the eye can see.
Thus, their word for "the" World, "the" Earth,
was Mai-Ama, contracted to Mayam.
[Would you rather I spelled it Maïam, a lo Tolkien?]
Anyway, their present culture is very much aware of the fact that
they are descended from the ashes of a proud and prosperous civilization
whose mistakes are not to be

to Mayam-Bä, as it should be, but no;
I got the usual rejection.
Am I missing something?   :hmm:
Titles with special characters would not always display correctly, when viewing a Journal’s preview.

You can preview journals with non-latin characters in the title, but you still can't post them. Really Sad

Why? The short answer is because 10 years ago deviantART was built without internationalization in mind. But I hope we'll fix that sooner or later.
Fix!   :flageu:   Yes, please!
